Hi Friends!
How did your week go?
Are you starting to see the Fall colors in your area? It is such a beautiful time of year!
Just a little update with my doc. My foot is looking great but I still need to stay off of it for a while longer! I am wearing a boot that distributes the weight of my foot evenly and I have a knee scooter that gets me from point A to B. My husband and daughter get a chuckle out of me scooting around the house. So maybe I will be back to working on projects soon!
In the meantime, I thought I would give you my top 9 DIY Room Decor Projects. Most were low cost, things I had on hand and easy to make. And, you can make every project to fit in with your own decor style. So, let’s get started.
I had so much fun with this project. Wanting my own tiered tray but not wanting to spend a fortune on buying one, I made my own with supplies I had on hand. I didn’t have to buy anything extra to make this DIY WOODEN TIERED TRAY.
This next project was also one that didn’t cost me anything. I had all the materials on hand and love how it turned out. See how you can change a cupboard door into this Sign.
How To Paint A Book was very popular on Hometalk. I received a feature from that post. You can find used books at thrift stores for less than a dollar or at yard sales for cheaper. You can even go to your local dollar store and buy new books Great for decorating around your house!
This Old Saw was recently posted on Hometalk and another favorite of yours. So simple and yet gives you an idea of what you can do with an old (or new) saw.
This was a fun piece! I had had this Enamel Lid several years before figuring out what to do with it. Again, I had all the materials for this!
This Toy Chest was my favorite project to date! Given to me by a family member who is no longer with us! I received it during a time when I collected clowns. It holds a lot of memories for me and I think I have made it into a beautiful showpiece that now fits into my decor! I love it! Thank you, MOM!
Have you ever bought something without knowing what to do with it? (Total aside: I do that all the time). I bought these glass globes years ago in a thrift shop. This was very popular on Hometalk and with all of you as well. You can check out the Upcycled Candle Light here.
I bought this board at Goodwill and had it in my stash for years. It wasn’t my style but loved the shape and size. See how I made this Repurposed Sign fit in with my style.
My last project is literally a Trash to Treasure! It is a drawer front. Plain, simple and looks very different now! It’s amazing what we can come up with when we set our minds to it!
And here we are, 9 PROJECTS, upcycled or reimagined and put to use. Otherwise going to the landfill!
I hope you found something in this post inspiring and that you may have some treasure you have put to the side waiting to reimagine it! Enjoy the process of figuring it out!
And as always, I hope you PIN this post! It helps grow my blog!
Happy Saturday Friends!!
