Today I am sharing a granola recipe.
It’s easy & fast.
My daughter found this somewhere on the web and we have been making it for our yogurt and for snaking.
It calls for Pecans, Almonds, Coconut, Egg Whites, Salt, Brown Sugar, Chia Seeds, and Flax Seeds.
It is so simple and delicious.
You can add different nuts than those called for.
Can I just add how cute these little pumpkins are.
My daughter picked them up the other day while she was shopping.
Here we go!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. I used the largest sheet pan I had.
You will need nuts.
I added almonds and pecans.
I roughly chopped mine but chop them how you want them.
Add your coconut.
Add in chia seeds and the flax seeds.
Mix these ingredients in a bowl.
Add your egg whites to the nut mixture.
Now I added an extra egg white (3 total) to the mix because I thought it was a little dry. I would make the original recipe first and see how you like it, then you can experiment with it after that.
Next, add your sugar and salt to the nut mixture.
Again, I made mine sweeter than the original mix, make it your own.
Here it is added to my yogurt.
That is it!
Enjoy!!
Let me know if you try it and if you did things differently.
