Happy Saturday Friends.
I have a fun little DIY project for you today!
I made this quite a while ago and never thought to post it but thought you all might like to see it!
I found these 3 items at different times at our local Goodwill and put them all together. I do believe the cost was under $8. I think it is so cute!
Let’s get started.
I know you see these everywhere but here is my take on this cute little cupcake stand? Actually, it is bigger than a cupcake stand and smaller than a cake.
You will need a candlestick. I found this style to be unique for the base of this plate. Not the clear candlesticks you see every day. It has a bit of yellow and green in it!
How about this cute plate! The pink and those polka dots!! I loved it and its square shape.
I had the candlestick and the square plate for a bit before I found this awesome, chunky and very heavy, top. It was the same square shape as the plate and when I brought it home, it was a perfect fit!
Sometimes things just work out that way.
This part is so simple.
Putting it together.
I added E6000 glue to the candlestick and turned the plate upside down, attached the candlestick to the plate, and let it sit overnight to make sure it was completely dry.
Turn it over and add the top. Perfect!
A very fast, simple, unique DIY project. Cost very little to make and is so stinkin cute!
I have had this stand in my kitchen and my bathroom.
Would be so cute with a cupcake on it but I didn’t have one so a cute little pumpkin will have to do.
What do you think?
Do these 3 mismatched items work well together?
I hope you enjoyed this simple project and get an idea for your next cake or cupcake stand. Take 3 very different items from a thrift store and turn them into a pretty piece you can use in your decor!
If you liked this project, found it helpful or inspirational, please pin it! It helps to grow my blog.
Thank you and happy Saturday, my friends.
