Footstool Makeover

Hey friends! I have another project finished!

I painted a few pieces of furniture recently and have been working through them.My next project was this footstool my brother and SIL made me years and years ago.I do believe my brother made the stool and my SIL painted the clowns.I used to collect clowns. But no longer.I thought I would update it!

A fresh coat of white primer.

Adding a transfer from IOD.

Doesn’t that look so much better?

Ended by sealing it with Top Coat from Sweet Pickins.

I didn’t paint it, just the primer was used.

I like the flat, bright white of the stool.

And then I cheated. Yep, I did.

I took a permanent marker and made distressed marks around the stool.

Can you tell?

Very bright!
