I have had this stick of wood for a couple of years now, lol. I got it while volunteering here in town. When I saw it, I thought this would make a great “something”, haha. Well, I finally made something with it. Only two years, not bad I would say, lol. I didn’t have a picture of before but you can see what it would have looked like without the picture.
Look at all that old wood goodness…
Holes and all.
I thought that I would paint the word Thyme on it with a little picture.
Found the line art on the net.
I didn’t make it look old but I think I will shabby it up a little.
All I have to do now is hang it.
Thanks for stopping by!

Doesn't it feel great to get around to projects like that? So where are you going to hang it? 😉
Thanks for sharing with us at the #HomeMattersParty
your sign is wonderful. I like how you left the rough edges on. Hope you don't mind if we "borrow" your look.
So glad you like and yes, borrow away, lol.
Yes it does and I think I am going to put it in my kitchen, just haven't made it that far yet, lol.
Very clever of you! What a perfect way to reuse the old wood. Love your picture. Thanks so much for sharing at Vintage Inspiration Party.

This is quite charming. It would make a beautiful marker for a garden. Well done!
