Instant Pot Applesauce
Homemade applesauce using the Instant pot.
- 9-10 Apples
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 1/4 Cup Sugar You can use Stevia
- 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
Peel, core and slice your apples. I used 3 Granny Smith and 6 Honeycrisp Apples, which made it sweet with a tiny bit of tartness mixed in. The recipe called for sweet apples so make it comfortable for you.
Place your apples in the liner of your instant pot. Add the water and cinnamon. Lock the lid in place and place the valve in the sealing position. Click the Manual button then hit the + button and set to 7 minutes.
Allow to naturally release for about 10 minutes or you can complete a slow controlled quick release of the pressure.
Use an immersion blender or potato masher or blender to break down the apples to the desired consistency.
