Deviled Eggs

Deviled eggs are hard boiled eggs that have been halved, then the yolks are removed and mashed and various ingredients mixed in.
Cook Time 10 minutes
Servings 7 2 per person

Ingredients

  • 7 Eggs
  • 2-3 Tbsp. Sweet Relish
  • 3-4 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
  • 2-3 tsp. Thousand Island Dressing
  • ½-1 tsp. Mustard any kind

Notes

Boil your eggs.
When they are done boiling and have cooled, peel your eggs and then slice eggs in half, lengthwise. Empty the egg yolks into another bowl. Smash the yolks with a fork until finely crumbled.
Add the mayo, relish, thousand island dressing, and mustard. Mix until well blended.
If the yolk mixture seems to dry, add a little more mayo. If not sweet enough, add a little more sweet relish or thousand island dressing.
Adjust the ingredients to your liking.
Just add each ingredient a little at a time.
I then spoon the yolk mixture into the sliced egg. You can also pipe the yolk mixture for a prettier look. I make mine with a little mound on top.
Once you have this done, you can leave them plain or dress them up. We like them just as is but I added finely chopped bacon, parsley, and paprika for the pictures. There are so many options out there. All are great! Well, except the mustard and vinegar eggs, lol.
