Hey Sweet Friends,
Hope your week is starting out fantastic.
We have had rain and wind, lots of wind. At least the fires and smoke are gone.
Are you ready for a super easy recipe?
I’m all about simple and fast! My daughter found this somewhere on the web and it leaves you up to your own imagination of what to do. The recipe didn’t come with measurements to my understanding but I have included them here to make it easier. Especially if you are the type that needs the measurements like me. Here is my take on the recipe and you can fix it to how your family would like it!
Let’s get to it, shall we?
Lazy Noodles
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
- 2 tsp. Hoisin Sauce
- 1/4 tsp. Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbsp. Honey or to taste
- 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce or Liquid Aminos
- 3 Tbsp. Sweet Chili Sauce
- 1 tsp. Garlic
- 1 tsp. Ginger
- 1/2 Onion
- 1/2 Bell Pepper
- 6 oz. Pasta
Notes
If you noticed in the picture, I added Chicken. Feel free to add whatever protein you want, same with vegetables. If you want it spicier add red pepper flakes or more chili sauce. If you like it sweeter add more honey!
See what I mean, make it your own!
Such a versatile recipe and it comes together very fast.
If you want to add chicken to this dish, here is what I do-
Cut your chicken into bites size pieces, add about a teaspoon of baking soda (for tenderness) and 1 Tbsp. corn starch (to make it crispy on the outside). Mix together and let sit about 30 minutes or so. I then fry up the chicken in two batches (you don’t want to crowd it) and then set aside until the vegetables are done.
Most of the time I leave out the protein and just make it with noodles and veggies, makes for a fast, filling meal.
I hope you give this a try and tell me how you liked it!
Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to pin!!
